Antony Jospeh
Neckbone
This Ep announces the release of the 5th album from Anthony Joseph. This first single is a meeting between all caribbean musics (Trinidad, Guadeloupe, HaA#ti?) A super band including percussionist Roger Raspail, steel pan maestro Andy narrel, Shabakah Hutchings on sax and rapper/beatboxer Sly Johnson. These extracts are highly anticipated by his fans but also for music lovers Jazz / Funk. In this new track, Anthony Joseph chose to work alongside Sly Johnson and his talent to bring a piece in another dimension. On the devastating \"Neckbone\", we found poetry of Anthony chanted in pure Caribbean style, not far from that of one of its models Linton Kwesi Johnson. For the chorus, from this Caribbean accent you could cut with a knife, hides Sly Johnson. On the B side, we find the percussive \"Mano A Mano\", poetry on a percussion avalanche in the purest style of the Last Poets.
