"A Treasury" is the defintive collection of 15 classic songs by Nick Drake. 'Definitive' because it now includes "Magic", Nick's first single (I know, it's bizarre!) which was released this year. This is nicely packaged with a good essay inside, but the new track is an uncredited tiny tease: cute finger-picked classic with possibly Nick's first ever bum note?! I wouldn't recommend you buy this for that snippet, but if you're looking for a way in to the glorious world of Nick then this is the best place to start. Incredible acoustic guitar playing, poetry for lyrics, balming strings, amazing songs: Nick Drake had it all. And here's the proof.
