3rd in the illusive Black Gold series, this latest incarnation is an up front collection of forthcoming Tru Thoughts music exclusive to this 12. These releases are strictly vinyl only. This 12 is limited to 500 units and Black Gold 12’s always sell out. Considering what’s on this 12 I’d pick one up now because they won’t be around for long!
First up is a true super group. Sleepin Giantz are 3 legends of the UK music scene. Zed Bias on production with lyrics from Rodney P and Fallacy. We have a full album from the Giantz due later this year but this club anthem is their first ever appearance together. Heavy, heavy track.
Next up is The Colonel with MC DRS (Broke N English). The Manchester MC has been causing a storm with his recent Metalheadz release with Need For Mirrors and this tune is made for the dancefloor.
To finish off we have the highly sought after Cottam, taking things deep and dirty. Afro-Tech Deep Disco style. Gilles Peterson has already got behind this one.
