'Spunk' is the only recording featuring the original Sex Pistols line up of Glen Matlock bass Steve Jones guitar Johnny Rotten vocals and Paul Cook drums Matlock left the band shortly before they recorded 'Never Mind the Bollocks' 'Spunk' comes from three sessions with recording engineer Dave Goodman The first demos including 'Seventeen' 'Satellite' 'No Feelings' 'Just Me I Wanna Be Me' and 'Submission' were recorded at the Denmark Street rehearsal rooms in London's Soho district in July 1976 The second session took place at Wessex studios in Highbury North London in October 1976 that resulted in an early take of 'Anarchy in the UK' the third and final session took place at Gooseberry studios in Soho in January 1977 It was during these final demo sessions where the band recorded the first takes of 'God Save the Queen' 'Problems' 'Pretty Vacant' 'Liar' 'Who Was it EMI' and 'New York Looking for a Kiss' LP Limited Coloured Vinyl LP Black Vinyl
