Lee Perry
Dub-Triptych
'Dub Triptych' is a Double CD compilation of 3 early Lee Perry dub albums that have been out of proper print or never released 'Cloak and Dagger' 1973 'Blackboard Jungle Dub' 1973 and 'Revolution Dub' 1975 While 'Cloak and Dagger' slightly hints at what was to come 'Blackboard Jungle Dub' is full on dub eerie sound effects slowfi beats and sly brooding bass Tracks like 'Black Panta' 'Khasha Macka' and 'Drum Rock' make for a dense and ghostly atmosphere while tracks like 'Elephant Rock' and 'Kaya Skank' are more upbeat and aggressive being one of the first dub albums it remains a concentrated record with zero filler
