Indie-pop wunderkind Will Joseph Cook releases his debut album Sweet Dreamer via Atlantic Records. Sweet Dreamer is 13 songs of technicolour indie pop, fully formed by Will himself across lyrics and music over the past few years, acting as a diary of sorts of his adolescence and teenage years. The record was recorded in London, with production duties come from Hugh Worskett and Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman (with additional production by WJC himself). Perfectly formed pop songs such as Treat Me Like A Lover see Will shifting a gear, perfectly mixing his knack for intelligent, often heart-wrenching lyrics, with the pop sensibilities of Talking Heads and MGMT.
